I haven’t read the original article, but if they said at any point that he was a front runner because he fits the image (race and gender-wise) that America wants to see, I would respect that. Especially in this ‘anti-DEI’ (pro-white supremacy) era.
He does have things he’s naturally good at, like debating/talking on his feet and taking proactive political steps when others don’t. But if the DNC (which I don’t personally know) sees this as exceptional presidential material and not strategically the best of the current bunch, it is concerning.
Also, his proactive nature has made him a flip-flopper and a platformer of right wing bigotry. I personally find his continual double and triple downing of his support for Charlie Kirk’s legacy absolutely DISGUSTING 🤢 .
These are just my two cents as a concerned outsider (Canadian) looking in.
Agree with your analysis and comments. However I sometimes wonder what are you doing about your opinion if you make contact with the DNC and voice your concern. I think if you have ideas and suggestions share them with those in leadership. Not everyone consume news from this platform. The most problem with the party is the ability to spread the correct information to correct people and reaching voters.

This was well written. I think Newsom is an empty suit that is just smart enough to understand that Dems are so weak right now that he is able to claim the fighter lane for now. The fact that a Governor from California with so many holes in his record and lack of substance as Newsom is in the lead speaks to how weak the party is in my opinion. If from GA. My hope is that Ossoff wins reelection and takes on Newsom in 2028.
