“Yeah…it’s a no for me dog”. I wonder why the apology is never equal to the disrespect. The majority of his “apology” was geared towards the Jewish community. Meanwhile, the black community got a one-off liner and assumes we will continue to support him regardless as to how often he shits on us. Naw! I’m good. Fuque him and his apology.

The fact that you’re still buying his concert tickets and his merch is part of the problem; you’re enabling him from getting help for his mental illness if he can still afford not to because he hasn’t hit rock bottom.

Considering everything that that’s going to hell with this country and within our society, this guy is hardly relevant.

Ye’s > Kanye West apology in a few words out of nowhere do not move me or Black Americans. He can continue to please his rich Black self and leave us alone. We know his words of apology are shallow. In this case it really is what u do not what u say.

You're right to be skeptical. Only a fool would trust him.

He likely has a new album coming, and this is part of its marketing. Kanye always increases the controversies prior to album release. It’s a pattern.

Agree. It has been and will be a NO for me. In the words of Ms. Angelo ‘when people show you who they are, believe them.’ He has shown us time and time again that he is not for or with us.

He's the same as always, uninteresting with nothing to offer. I suuest he do some actual work to help people, not blather on so much.

Let’s do another piece on why Kanye even matters to the African American community or any other community today. His politics, lifestyle and language has clearly been anti-Black for some time. He has behaved like a clown during an expressed period of Black Excellence. His Adidas deal (partially framed by criminal escape Russell Simmons) was a ridiculously bad and he walked around lying about it for some time, while calling himself a genius.

Meanwhile it was a master class for how not to do a deal. Seriously, I sat through an entire lawyer’s workshop where it was a key case study.

Fuck Kanye y’all. What good does he do for anyone other than himself and his? There are no reports. Hum… He keeps using his mental illness as an excuse, yet he’s wealthy enough to get the best mental health services. He’s never once openly advocated for better understanding and support for those with the same illness, but who have limited or no access.

The world deserves so much better than this man. Shout out to the Jewish community for holding Kanye accountable for what he says and does.

I’m begging the African American community to do the same. Let’s move on once and for all. There is soooo much great talent and relevant voices out here today to support, and soooo many important societal issues we must confront.

If one can, but chooses not to be part of the solution today he or she needs to be sent somewhere else. Kanye’s a pitiful distraction at best and a political and cultural disorganizer at worst, both setting the African American and those with mental health illnesses back.
